Meixun Sinky Zheng

Meixun Zheng, PhD, is assistant professor, senior faculty and instructional developer at the School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific where she designs and facilitates faculty development programs, works with faculty to design blended, online and flipped lessons, and conducts research in related areas. Prior to this, Dr. Zheng was a teaching assistant professor at College of Education, North Carolina State University, where she taught online courses in the literacy and technology teacher education program. She also worked as a research associate at NC States Friday Institute for Educational Innovation where she conducted grant-funded research and teacher professional development with teachers in the U.S. and China. Dr. Zhengs professional interests focus on emergent pedagogies associated with emerging technologies and faculty professional development in this area. She has authored or coauthored several publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented extensively at international and national conferences including American Educational Research Association (AERA), Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE), American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and Literacy Research Association (LRA).

Dr. Zheng has a PhD in curriculum and instruction from NC State University.
